Portsmouth police log: March 11-12

March 11

7:23 a.m.: Caller reported an unattended backpack on Church Street.

7:48 a.m.: Assisted on Daniel Street where a cyclist failed to yield to traffic, was hit by a car, but uninjured.

8:11 a.m.: Checked on well being of a resident for a concerned relative.

8:31 a.m.: Trespass notice served.

8:47 a.m.: Report taken about possible prostitution at a Woodbury Avenue motel.

9:57 a.m.: Animal officer removed a dead rabbit from Middle Street.

11:01 a.m.: Seacoast Emergency Response Team dispatched to Brentwood to assist with someone who was going to be involuntary admitted to a hospital and was in his home with a firearm.

12:57 p.m.: Landscaping crew found hypodermic needles in a parking lot.

1:40 p.m.: Arrested Violet Boardman, 20, of 49 New York St., Dover, on a warrant alleging theft.

2:19 p.m.: Checked on well being of a resident for a concerned relative. Found the resident at home on the floor with a head injury and the person was transported to the hospital.

4:33 p.m.: Request made for a K-9 for drugs near the Wentworth Road recreation center. Officer Blanding reported his K-9 isn’t certified for drugs yet, original caller said to disregard.

6:10 p.m.: Assisted on Lafayette Road where a Jeep went through a fence and knocked down a sign.

6:38 p.m.: Arrested Christopher Diminico, 33, who gave the homeless shelter as his address, on a warrant from Derry.

6:38 p.m.: Assisted caller who gave Social Security scammers $13,000.

9:43 p.m.: Caller reported possible prostitution at a Gosling Road motel.

9:51 p.m.: Notified state police about glass in Lafayette Road.

March 12

3:20 a.m.: Investigated a report about a suspicious vehicle off Durgin Lane.
